The Translation Team and Phrase Translation Management System

Following two years of diligent research, including testing and evaluation of many translation solutions, The Translation Team has selected Phrase TMS as its core translation management system (TMS).

What’s a Translation Management System?

If you are curious about what a TMS is, it’s a translation environment that brings together previous translations plus approved glossary terms in context, concordance searches, QA checks, and other robust linguistic features that translators can work with powerfully, quickly, and effectively. All at the translator’s fingertips. It’s where the magic happens.

Integrations Made Easier

Phrase is a state-of-the-art translation environment that integrates very well with content management systems, such as AEM, WordPress, Contentful, Drupal, Figma, and many cloud storage solutions, and additionally streamlines connectivity with our business manager via webhooks (kudos to BeLazy!)—eliminating any duplication of work.

Above all, it’s a tool that is constantly releasing new features and improvements to stay ahead of the current language technology landscape.

Phrase TMS also will serve as our AI playground, where we will start creating human-AI scenarios to explore.

We’ll see put it to the test to help us improve through faster speeds and process automations, more powerful QA checks, translation ratings, all with the same quality you’re accustomed to at TTT—and without any of the hallucinations (✨).

We’re looking forward to connecting with clients to discover potential areas where we can plug Phrase into your content systems to boost productivity and reduce friction (that is, reduce any unnecessary time and energy that may exist in the current process).

Will this signal the demise of email submission of translation requests? Not necessarily, but we are open to exploring other ways to connect.

For us, it’s been a challenge and a thrill to find that sweet spot of tech efficiency to support the human translators and editors as we craft your translations.

If you have any questions about how we’re merging human skill with tech efficiency, get in touch! We’d love to discuss our approach with you.
